Recomended Reading
By Robert E. Gentet
Many good books are available on Creation/evolutionism. Here's a starter list I especially recommend.
Evolution: The Grand Experiment Volumes 1 and 2 are both extremely colorful and chuck full of information about the shortcomings of evolutionism to account for both the fossil record and living things. Volume 2 is on an old subject of mine (I wrote on it back in 1964) -- "Living Fossils" -- fossils that match to a marvelous degree still-living plants and animals. Both volumes are highly recommended!
Richardson, Don. Third Edition 2005. Eternity in their Hearts. Regal Press, Ventura, CA.
The foundation of the belief in Creation is belief in God. While some deny God's existence, God has left abundant evidence of His actions and presence in all human history. Don Richardson has written an amazing book showing God's hand in hundreds of cultures throughout the world that prepared the way for the truths of the Bible. Here is plain evidence that God not only exists, but that He is the God of the Bible.

(right image) von Fange, Erich A. 1994. Noah to abram: the turbulent years. Living Word Services, Adrian, MI.
Erich A. von Fange takes into account pre-Flood catastrophes and this makes his three books especially important. Overall, very good reading material on a variety of subjects.
Newman, Robert C. & Wiester, John L. with Moneymaker, Janet & Jonathan. 2000. What's Darwin got to do with it? A friendly conversation about evolution. InterVarsity Press, Downers Grove, IL.
A very good book on the genetic short-comings of evolutionism written in comic book form. Great for high schoolers especially!
(left image) Frair, Wayne and Davis, Percival. 1983. A case for creation (third edition). Moody Press, Chicago, IL.
(right image) Frair, Wayne. 2002. Biology and creation -- An introduction regarding life and its origins. Creation Research Society Books. Chino Valley, AZ.
A couple of great books by Dr. Wayne Frair giving some basics on how biology shows evidences of the Genesis statements of Creation!
Blanchard, John. 2004. Has Science got rid of God? Evangelical Press, Webster, NY.
The foundation of all beliefs is the belief in the existence of God. This belief in God is the very thing that atheistic evolution steals from the minds of those who accept it. Blanchard's book tackles the questions which block belief in God due to scientism. Scientism is a belief system that automatically leaves out the Creator. A must reading for foundational thinking about questions on how science is different from scientism. While scientism conflicts with the Bible, science does not.
Denton, Michael. 1986. Evolution: A theory in crisis. Adler & Adler, Bethesda, MD.Wells, Jonathan. 2000. Icons of evolution -- Science or myth? Regnery Publishing, Inc. Washington, DC.
A classic by Denton (a molecular biologist) who shows in detail the gathering evidences against evolutionism.
Klotz, John W. 1985. Studies in creation. Concordia Publishing House, St. Louis, MO.
A well-written, general introduction to the Creation/evolutionism debate by a Lutheran scientist/theologian. It has been reprinted and available through the publisher or at Amazon.com.
Deloria, Jr., Vine. 1997. Red Earth -- White Lies. Fulcrum Publishing, Golden, CO.
The late Vine Deloria, Jr. (an American Indian) shows how Indians in their oral history contradict the ancient age evolutionary stories of early Man in North America. The Indian traditions remember some geological events (said by evolutionary-based ideas to have supposedly happened millions of years ago)!
Wells, Jonathan. 2000. Icons of evolution -- Science or myth? Regnery Publishing, Inc. Washington, DC.
A have-to-obtain book showing the fallacies of the basic textbook examples of evolutionism used to indoctrinate millions of unsuspecting students in our schools.
Veith, Jr. Gene Edward. 1994. Postmodern Times -- A Christian Guide to Contemporary Thought and Culture. Crossway Books, Wheaton, Illinois.
The rise in the belief in the theory of evolution and the ancient age of the Earth can't truly be understood without a comprehensive background of the modern world that lasted roughly 200 years -- some say from the fall of the Bastille in 1789 to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. It was during this time when human reason reasoned itself away from the Word of God and into the abyss of godless evolutionism. While this book is obviously showing how we have now exited modern times into postmodern, it is still another must read.
Neufeld, Michael J. 2007. Von Braun. Alfred A. Knopf, New York.
Fascinating story of German-born, Lutheran Wernher von Braun whose dreams of space flight propelled him into the Nazi war machine, only to land him after the war into a new land where he saw his faith in God renewed and space flight dreams realized as a leader in the USA space race to Moon.
