Foretold

God has an exact timetable for carrying out His marvelous purpose for mankind. The time of the birth of the promised “Seed” was no exception. Thousands of years passed after it was given in the Garden of Eden before it was fulfilled at Christ’s birth. For us humans, it seemed God had forgotten to carry out His Promise. Yet, to God, all was going exactly to plan. His Second Coming is also mysterious to us. Nearly 2000 years have passed since His Ascension back into Heaven. Yet, His return will, as was His first coming, be right on time.

4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.  Gal. 4:4-7
